Giovanna Battaglia: Once Upon A Dress

Giovanna Battaglia styled the costumes for a cool short film recently, "Once Upon A Dress," directed by Dasha Zhukova for the Fashion Fetish film series on Nick Knight's SHOWstudio.com. Chloë Sevigny, Derek Blasberg, and Peter Brant II star in the short. In her own words, Giovanna describes the film in her column "Gio's Journal" for W Magazine: “Dasha Zhukova directed this fashion-fetish movie for Nick Knight’s Showstudio and asked me to style it. The film stars Chloë Sevigny as a downtown girl who falls asleep at a party and dreams she’s gone back in time. So I put her in Jeremy Scott in the beginning — and in Prada for the scenes set in the past.” Way to mark the passing of time with style, Gio!

B, if I remember correctly, Dasha is one of the three writers and she definitely directed the short. So basically she told everyone what to do.
