Giovanna Battaglia At Fellini Satyricon

Recently Giovanna Battaglia attended a private screening of the restored film Fellini Satyricon as part of the 50th New York Film Festival. Dolce & Gabbana contributed to the restoration and hosted a splendid soirée to celebrate it. After viewing the film, Giovanna was inspired to wear an extravagant wig to Bergdorf Goodman's 111th Anniversary Party at the Plaza a few days later: "The idea for my hair came to me after last Saturday seeing Dolce & Gabbana's screening of Fellini's restored Satyricon; The characters in the film had these amazing and elaborate hair styles that I loved. I explained the idea to my friend Duffy this week on a photo shoot and he incredibly made the hair piece in one day! It was extraordinary, exactly what the Bergdorf event last night called for!" Gio paired her wig with a dress by Lanvin, a vintage beaded coat by Dolce & Gabbana, and jewelry by Eddie Borgo. Grazie mille to our fabulous contributing editor Francesca Berti for her help in collecting the photographs.

The hair color of hair piece is horrible. it looks so dry. I think the hair color should've been black

Yes, cca., I think darker would look better or at least more natural. But kudos to Gio for daring to be different.
